Two-toed Sloth - Two-toed sloths have very long and thick fur that covers a large proportion of their body. This may seem strange for an animal that inhabits the tropics but because their metabolism produces relatively little heat, this insulation is essential for the animal to maintain a working body temperature, especially at night or on cool, cloudy days.
