Rufous Motmot
Rufous Motmot - Motmots spend long periods of time perched on branches in the shadows patiently surveying the forest for food such as fruit, insects, spiders, worms and small lizards. When feeding on berries, they fly repeated sorties from a chosen perch to snatch the fruit in mid-flight. Once back on their perch, the berry is swallowed whole.
