Costa Rica Golf Adventures and JD Watersports have joined forces to offer the golfer/fisherman a unique package. This adventure starts in San José at the Meliá Cariari Conference Center & Golf Resort. This luxurious resort is located just 10 minutes from the capital city and adjacent to the Cariari Country Club. A casino and several restaurants are located in the hotel. We will provide a list of recommended restaurants in the San José area. The Cariari Country Club Golf Course is the result of the collaboration of two famous names in golf course design, George and Tom Fazio. Built in 1974, the years have been good to the Cariari and this beautiful course only gets better with time. JD Watersports is located at the beautiful Central Pacific beach resort of Punta Leona. You will be staying at the nearby spectacular Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort with its fabulous Ted Robinson golf course surrounded by jungle and overlooking a secluded ocean cove. You are likely to see monkeys, toucans, iguanas and pizotes on various holes. The two days that you are not golfing will be spent chasing sailfish, marlin, wahoo, dorado and tuna aboard the 44 ft. Yacht "Resourceful." The latest in electronics, Penn International rods reels and tackle along with the local knowledge of your Costa Rican guides will offer you the best possible opportunity for a great fishing experience. Marriott Los Sueños offers dining in several restaurants. After an exciting day of golf or fishing you can try your luck at the hotel casino. Later, you may want to take the short drive to Jaco Beach where lively nightlife abounds.
