You will be met at the airport and transferred to the Sleep Inn for your first night in San José in one of their Standard Rooms. Your air conditioned Toyota Rav 4 - 4X4 will be delivered to the hotel the following morning, and you're off to Volcan Arenal, one of the most active volcanos in the world. En route you will pass through Zarcero, famous for the sculpted bushes surrounding its picturesque church. Option: Going a few miles out of your way you can also visit Sarchí, home of Costa Rica's traditional brightly painted ox carts and a great stop for buying beautiful items made of Costa Rican hardwoods. You will spend two nights in a Jr. Suite at Arenal Lodge where you will enjoy the view of the Arenal volcano and pristine rainforest from your private balcony. During the day you may choose to visit Volcan Arenal National Park (entrance $6), hike to a waterfall, or relax in the thermal baths at Tabacon Hot Springs ($29.00).
Drive from La Fortuna to Quepos. Here you will stay for three nights at Hotel La Mariposa one of the best costal hotels in Costa Rica. Step into a world class arena, with world class international cuisine. Your Junior Suite features a private terrace with extraordinary ocean views; king-size or two double beds, telephone and A/C. You can rest the first night and get ready for your guided Manuel Antonio National Park Tour the next day from 7am to 11am. You can enjoy the rest of your stay at the park, the beach, or the beautiful pool of the hotel. After relaxing in the beauty of Manuel Antonio you return to your Standard Room in San Jose at the Sleep Inn. Shop, dine or enjoy the night life, a few blocks from the hotel. Your vehicle will be picked up at the International Airport the next day.
