San José City Tour & Shopping Departs: 8:00 a.m & 1:00 p.m.

Length of tour: 4 hours

Starting on the East side of San Jose, the first thing we will see is Democracy Plaza and the National Museum, the Courts, Los Yoses, San Pedro Mall, Hispanidad Fountain and the Rodrigo Facio Campus of the University of Costa Rica.

After we have seen the capital’s main attractions, our first stop will be the impressive Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and the beautiful National Theater where we will have a guided visit through these cultural gems.

After our visit, the tour continues thru the western section of San Jose: La Sabana Metropolitan Park, Costa Rican Contemporary Art Museum or the first International Airport in Costa Rica, the National Gymnasium, the Comptroller’s office, residential area Rohrmoser, Nunciatura, Nobel Peace prize winner Oscar Arias Sanchez’s home, Rohrmoser Boulevard and Pavas section.

At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity of visiting a interesting shopping place where you will be able to buy a souvenir of your visit to San Jose.

On Sunday, the National Theater is closed and we will only see it from the outside and all the Pre-colombian Gold Museum

Irazú Volcano Departs: 8:00 a.m. approx

Length of tour: 5 hours (half day)

We take the Pan-American Highway South, to start ascending the large “Iztaru”. The winding road travels through fertile lands cultivated with all kinds of vegetables as we enjoy a lovely panoramic view. At the top of the volcano you can observe the main craters and on a clear day both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans can be seen.

As we descend to the city of Cartago we will stop at the Virgin of the Angels Basilica that according to religious custom is a peregrination site for many believers.

Grecia & Sarchí (Oxcart Factory) Departs: 11:00 a.m.
Length of tour: 5 hours

Located in the province of Alajuela and surrounded by cane fields we find Grecia, a beautiful town considered one of the cleanest in Latin America, it is home to the only Metal Church in Central America and a national monument that fills its inhabitants with pride.

We continue to Sarchi, known as the Cradle of Costa Rican Artisans because of its fine wood workshops. Here you will have time to enjoy the artistic work of the local artisans as they create the famous typical oxcart and you will be able to shop for that special souvenir to take home.

Orosi Valley & Lankester Gardens Departs: 10:30 a.m. approx
Length of tour: 6 hours

After visiting the Basilica we will stop in Lankester Gardens, a University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids and bromeliads and countless species of other plants. We will continue on to the Valley of Orosi where creation overflows in unparalleled beauty. We will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and we will stop for a delicious lunch. On our return trip we will be able to observe La Casa del Sońador or dreamer’s house, an example of primitive art.

Poás Volcano Departs: 9:00 a.m.

The Poás Volcano is one of the world's largest geysers with an awesome crater, over 1.5 km. wide! The volcano is active, but completely safe for viewing. This tour begins with a beautiful drive through the lush coffee plantations and flower farms of the area. In addition to the volcano, the Poás National Park is a 9.884-acre reserve with rich tropical vegetation and animal life. The tour includes a hike through the surrounding forest that is teeming with typical plant life and exotic birds. The hike concludes at a restful, emerald green, tropical lagoon. Poás Volcano, Grecia & Sarchí Departs: 8:30 a.m. approx
Length of tour: 8 hours

We take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela. En route we go by the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park. As we ascend towards the volcano we stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean, coffee, and then continue our trip through fern, flower and strawberry farms.

There is a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation, preparing us for the pleasure of the exuberant cloud forest of Poas Volcano.

At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as we learn about the different ecosystems in the park. After visiting the volcano, we will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the area.

Our third stop is beautiful Grecia. Considered one of the cleanest towns of Latin America, it is home to the only Metal Church in Central America and a national monument that fills its inhabitants with pride. In order to catch a glimpse of local lifestyle we will also visit the central market area.

Our last stop is Sarchi, known as the Cradle of Costa Rican Artisans because of its fine workshops. Here we will have time to enjoy the artistic work of the local artisans as they create the famous typical oxcart and you will be able to shop for that special souvenir to take home.

With 24 platforms in the major trees, an extraordinary trail has been designed above the canopy forest.
The tour, of approximately two hours, is an experience filled with excitement and joy, in which the visitor performs a journey through the treetops on fourteen cables suspended high above the jungle trails, with the help and under the supervision of highly qualified and professional personnel. This exciting adventure ends when you glide down on an impressive 1980-feet length cable. Our company has indeed the technical support of professionals and technicians, who permanently control the quality and perfect conditions and operation of the equipment, platform and cable installations.

- Trout Fishing

Three integrated artificial lakes have been built, comprising approximately 8,000 m2. The major lake is used for boat tours and outdoor shows. Visitors can go trout fishing in one of the lakes, and take the fished trouts to the cleaning station where they are weighted, and packed according to the clients' preference. If preferred, trouts can be made at the restaurant following your favorite recipe.

Our fishing complex has its own rainbow trout farm, one of the salmonidae species whose culture has increased in many parts of the world due to its quality and delicious flavor.
