My name is Dale Dagger and I’ve been taking
people surfing in Central America since 1978. I provide an all inclusive surf
package designed to get you and your friends in the water and on the best waves
the area has to offer. I believe surfing by boat is the best option for
Nicaragua. I’ve found a great hotel run by a guy who is always willing to go the
extra mile for his guests. Together we proudly offer you one of the best surf
trips of your lives.
Nicaragua is just barely on the surfing world’s map of places safe enough
to surf. Nicaragua is incredibly safe and the people are amazingly friendly. You
will find more anti-American sentiment in your hometown than you will here. The
civil war has been over for 20 years and Nicaraguans like America and Americans.
It blows offshore all day here so you get two long sessions a day, most guys
have a hard time keeping up.
The surf is as good as CR but without the ever
present parking lot full of rental cars. I’ve got a well-trained crew that makes
your trip effortless and lots of fun without the usual surf trip headaches. An
English-speaking driver who whisks you to San Juan del Sur in one and a half
hours meets you at the airport.
I’ve had seven years to figure out the effects of swell size direction and tides
on these ten waves and I can customize your trip to the group’s abilities and
surfing preferences on a daily basis. We have several really good quality beach
breaks that range from cruisey long board to short board barrels. There is a
left point that can only be described as perfect when it’s on. A powerful reef
break called Ponga Drops and the classic two way peak at Papoyo.
There is however, the ever-present danger of having too much fun at night.
Hangovers hurt more clients than any other thing. Sunburns are number Two. There
are massages available after surf for $10 I’m here to answer questions and fill
in the gaps.

SAN JUAN DEL
SUR:
With our San Juan Del Sur package your extremely close proximity to the surf is substituted for more comfortable amenities.
Staying in San Juan Del Sur also gives you the opportunity to explore other areas of SW Nicaragua if your arms need a midweek break. You’ll stay at the Hotel Villa Isabella, one of the nicest with air conditioning, hot shower, TV, and a smiling, friendly staff. After breakfast in the hotel dining room, you will be picked up and brought to the pier. A 10-40 minute ride in our shaded panga guided by Captain Juan will bring you to any of several choice breaks. Fisherman can troll on the way! After a morning session, enjoy lunch with water, soda, and beer on the boat. Have a couple more sessions, and then head on back to port.
Back in town, you have a choice of many restaurants with varying cuisine. At night, there are several bars, some touristy than others. Although somewhat quiet during the week SJDS is definitely lively on the weekends; so be forewarned that hangovers are an ever-present danger. If the bar isn’t your scene, then relax in your room with 1 of the large selection of movies provided by the hotel. World-class waves, top quality service, and comfort. This is a gentlemen's hardcore surf trip.
