Costa Rica flight/airline information update: Latest weekly update for flight/airline info into and out of Costa Rica during the coronavirus pandemic as of November 18, 2020.
The first Iberia flight from Madrid arrived on August 3. Since then, Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France, American Airlines, Avianca, Copa, Delta, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Spirit, United, and Volaris have also restarted operations. Domestic airline Sansa is also flying again. You’ll see these airlines in bold. We’ll keep updating this list on a weekly basis until everything is in bold.
At this stage, most airlines either have their restart dates fixed or they’re holding off until things clear up regarding potential further lockdowns in Europe and/or North America. British Airways has now cancelled its December restart, saying they’re holding off “until 2021.” In Latin America, Wingo put of their November restart until December.
