Costa Rica Flight Info Update for July 26, 2020

Jul 26, 2020

Latest Costa Rica flight info into and out of San Jose (SJO), Costa Rica during the coronavirus pandemic.

The biggest news this week is that Costa Rica has finally confirmed exactly who can enter the country as tourists from August 1, 2020. Those countries include the EuropeanUnion, Schengen Zone countries outside the EU, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The United States, Mexico, South American countries, and the rest of Central America are not allowed into Costa Rica at this time.

What this means is that most US and Latin American airlines who’d confirmed their time slots into Costa Rica in August have now backtracked. Edelweiss has also backtracked in light of Swiss citizens needing to quarantine if they visit Costa Rica

Please find below the official Costa Rica flight information coming out of San Jose’s Juan Santamaria Airport as of July 26, 2020.
