Cheri Ballard

Cheri Ballard comes from Cincinnati, Ohio. Before moving to Costa Rica she worked in a variety of jobs including fast food management and running a pet store. She also managed a quick lube oil change business, which is where she met her husband. After living in Colorado for a few years, where Cheri obtained a degree in Medical Specialties, they moved to Costa Rica. Her husband had decided that he wanted to retire, but with the high cost of living, they agreed it would be easier if they moved abroad. They researched many countries before moving to Costa Rica in 2011. Cheri and her husband now live in the remote Costa Rican countryside, around the area of Puerto Viejo de Saripiqui in the northeast.
