Glenn Graham

US expat Glenn Graham lived in Escazu, Costa Rica from 2006 to 2013 and then moved straight from there to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, where he's been ever since. He moved to both places sight unseen, and somehow it worked out well. He's quite quite happy to be living outside the United States and has no plans to move back.
