Costa Rica Flight Info: Who’s Coming In or Out?

Latest Costa Rica flight info into and out of San Jose, Costa Rica during the coronavirus pandemic.

Please find below the official Costa Rica flight information coming out of San Jose’s Juan Santamaria Airport as of June 21, 2020. There is no current info for when Liberia Airport will begin operations again.

It’s worth noting that both airports are officially set to open on August 1. Many of the airlines below had flight scheduled in July, to coincide with the previous July 1 open date. We expect them to start working out their new August dates soon. There may be a chance though that some will hold off to see if the government moves the dates again. Watch this space. 

Aeroméxico: All operations suspended until further notice.

Air Canada: Operations to resume September 1 to/from Toronto.

Air France: Repatriation/rescue flight arriving from Paris on July 9. Returning to Paris on July 11.

Air Panama: All operations suspended until further notice.

Air Transat: All operations suspended until further notice.

Alaska: All operations suspended until further notice.

Albatros Airlines: All operations suspended until further notice.

American Airlines: All operations suspended until further notice.

Avianca: Information still pending from airline.

British Airways: Information still pending from airline.

Condor: Information still pending from airline.

Costa Rica Green Airways (domestic airline): Available for private charter internal charter flights.

Copa Airlines: All operations suspended until further notice.

Delta Airlines: All operations suspended until further notice.

Edelweiss: All operations suspended until further notice.

Iberia: All operations suspended until further notice.

Interjet: Information still pending from airline.

JetBlue: All operations suspended until further notice.

KLM: All operations suspended until further notice.

Latam: Information still pending from airline.

Lufthansa: Information still pending from airline.

Sansa (domestic airline): Information still pending from airline.

Skyway (domestic airline): Information still pending from airline.

Southwest: Operations to resume in 2021.

Spirit: “Rescue/repatriation” flights to/from Florida on July 1 and July 8.

United: “Rescue/repatriation” flights to/from Houston on June 29. 

Volaris: All operations suspended until further notice.

WestJet: All operations suspended until further notice.

Wingo: Information still pending from airline.
