Hailing from the west of Ireland, Alan Prendergast arrived in Costa Rica in 2005 via New York City and London. He’s still in Costa Rica and still finding ways to eke out a living. Alan is a jack of all trades and has worked in logistics, tourism, biomedicine, electronics, and construction. Nowadays he writes when taking a break from running a small bakery/catering service in San Jose.
