Alan Prendergast

Hailing from the west of Ireland, Alan Prendergast arrived in Costa Rica in 2005 via New York City and London. He’s still in Costa Rica and still finding ways to eke out a living. Alan is a jack of all trades and has worked in logistics, tourism, biomedicine, electronics, and construction. Nowadays he writes when taking a break from running a small bakery/catering service in San Jose. When he’s not cooking up a storm in the kitchen or figuring out what the hell to write about, you can find Alan spending time with his kid, shooting hoops in the local park, or following the fortunes of his beloved Liverpool F.C.
